Myriam Fares
Myriam Fares, born on May 3, 1983, in Southern Lebanon, is a prominent Lebanese singer and actress renowned for her captivating performances and vibrant personality. She began her artistic journey at the tender age of five, studying ballet, and by nine, she showcased her talent on Lebanese television, clinching first place in a junior talent competition's dance category.
Fares pursued formal music education at the National Music Institute (The Conservatoire) for four years. At sixteen, she participated in the Lebanese Song Festival, where her exceptional talent earned her the golden award, marking a significant milestone in her career. By twenty, she had released her debut album, "Anna wa al-Shawq" ("Longing and I"), accompanied by music videos for hits like "Anna wa al-Shawq" and "La Tasalnee" ("Don't Ask Me").
Her subsequent albums, "Nadeeny" ("Call Me") in 2005 and "Bitqool Eih" ("What Are You Saying?") in 2008, further solidified her status as a leading artist in the Arab music scene, with successful tracks like "Wahishny Leih" ("Why Do I Miss You?") and "Makanah Wein" ("Where is He?").
In addition to her music career, Fares made her mark in acting, starring in the film "Celina" and hosting the Ramadan trivia show "Fawazir Myriam" in 2010, making her the first Lebanese artist to host such a program.
