Kay Adams
Kay Adams was born on April 6, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, to Polish immigrant parents, and grew up bilingual in Polish and English. Her passion for media blossomed during her time at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, prompting her to pursue a degree in communications at the University of Missouri. While studying, she juggled various part-time roles, including bartending and working as a radio personality at local music and sports stations.
Adams embarked on her professional journey as an in-game host for the St. Louis Cardinals before making a significant leap into football coverage. She quickly gained traction in the fantasy football realm, hosting shows like SiriusXM's "Livin' the Fantasy" and "SiriusXM Fantasy Drive," along with DirecTV's "NFL Sunday Ticket Fantasy Zone." Her appearance on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in 2012 marked a turning point, expanding her visibility to a wider audience. She also contributed as a reporter for NBC Sports Network, appearing on popular programs such as "The Crossover with Michelle Beadle."
In 2016, Adams became one of the inaugural hosts of NFL Network's "Good Morning Football," a weekday morning show that garnered an Emmy nomination. Her authentic charisma and ability to engage with NFL players and coaches made her a beloved figure among fans. After parting ways with NFL Network in 2022, she launched her own daily NFL show, "Up & Adams," on FanDuel TV, which has significantly boosted the channel's viewership. Additionally, she has hosted notable live events, including Netflix's first live sports broadcast and Nickelodeon’s "Superstar Slime Showdown." Outside of her television career, Adams is dedicated to charitable work, particularly with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where she actively participates in fundraising initiatives.
