Dixie Peabody (December 11, 1947 – February 28, 2005) was an American actress known for her roles in a variety of exploitation films during the early 1970s, many of which were produced by the renowned Roger Corman at his New World Pictures studio.

Peabody began her film journey with an uncredited appearance in the biker movie Angels Die Hard in 1970. However, her breakout performance came in 1971 when she took on the lead role in Bury Me an Angel, a gritty narrative about a woman seeking vengeance for her brother's murder. This film solidified her status in the genre and showcased her talent as a compelling actress. Following this, she appeared in Night Call Nurses in 1972, further establishing her presence in the cinematic landscape of the time. In 1973, Peabody transitioned behind the camera as a production assistant on Summer School Teachers, demonstrating her versatility in the film industry.

Prior to her acting career, Peabody worked as a model, adopting the name Diane Potter.
