Rebecca Blum is a seasoned theatre performer with two decades of experience gracing local stages across various genres. Over the last ten years, she has developed a particular affinity for the works of William Shakespeare, participating in 16 of his plays, depending on interpretation. A standout moment in her career was being part of an all-female ensemble in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [revised] at Raleigh Little Theatre and Actors Comedy Lab. She aims to complete her Shakespearean journey by performing in the remaining 23 plays, while also dreaming of joining a live studio audience—though not necessarily simultaneously.

In a recent expansion of her artistic pursuits, Rebecca has ventured into film, building her portfolio through local short films and industrial projects. She values collaboration with fellow artists and is featured alongside her husband and three daughters in Bombshell Studio’s short film, Faces (Helene).

A proud North Carolina native, Rebecca graduated from the theatre department at Meredith College. Beyond her artistic endeavors, she is the General Manager of the Blum Household, expertly juggling the schedules of her husband and their three wonderful daughters. Additionally, she serves as the Artistic Director of the Nickel Shakespeare Girls (NickelShakespeareGirls.com), a traveling performance group, and holds the position of Associate Director at Bare Theatre (BareTheatre.org).
