Sarah Maur Thorp is a versatile actress with classical training who has made her mark in both film and theatre. She gained recognition for her leading performances in notable movies such as "Ten Little Indians," featuring a stellar cast including Donald Pleasance and Frank Stallone, and "The River of Death," alongside Robert Vaughan and Michael Dudikoff.
Her journey in acting began after three years at drama school in the late 1980s, where she initially focused on stage productions. Sarah's theatrical credits include "Love off the Shelf" at Nuffield Southampton, "The School for Scandal" at Plymouth Theatre Royal, and "The Importance of Being Earnest" with the Cathay Pacific touring theatre company. She also appeared in popular 1990s sitcoms like "Law and Disorder," starring Penelope Keith, and "Freddie and Max" alongside Anne Bancroft.
After a lengthy hiatus dedicated to raising her two sons, Sarah returned to her first love—acting—while also forming a Jazz/Blues quintet aptly named The Sarah Ward Jazz Quintet.
