Saïd M'Roumbaba, professionally known as Soprano, was born on January 14, 1979, in Marseille, France. This talented rapper, singer, and songwriter gained fame as a member of the influential hip-hop group Psy 4 de la Rime. Soprano embarked on a solo career that took off with his debut album, *Puisqu'il Faut Vivre*, which achieved significant success, making its way onto the Billboard European Top 100.

In 2010, Soprano released his second solo album, *La Colombe*, featuring notable collaborations with artists such as Indila and Amadou & Mariam, further solidifying his presence in the music industry. He continued to contribute to Psy 4 de la Rime, with their third album, *Les Cités d'Or*, released in 2008 and their fourth album, *4eme Dimension*, debuting in April 2013.

In recognition of his impact on music and culture, Soprano's likeness was immortalized in wax at the Musée Grévin on September 19, 2019.
