Voldemar Kuslap
Voldemar Kuslap, born on September 24, 1937, is a distinguished Estonian baritone renowned for his contributions to opera and operetta, as well as his work as an occasional actor. He hails from Gdov in the RSFSR, where his artistic journey began.
Kuslap completed his education at the Tallinn State Conservatory in 1968, marking the start of a remarkable career. From 1965 until 2010, he was a prominent member of the Estonia Theatre's choir, showcasing his vocal talents alongside his stage presence. Over the course of his extensive career, he has taken on more than 90 roles in various operas and operettas, establishing himself as a versatile performer in the field.
In addition to his stage performances, Kuslap has made notable appearances in several feature films. His filmography includes roles in "Mis juhtus Andres Lapeteusega?" (1966), "Mehed ei nuta" (1968), "Valge laev" (1970), and "Ooperiball" (1974), among other television films and series.
