**Will Strongheart: A Biography**
Born and raised in Kansas, USA, and Regina, Saskatchewan, Will Strongheart cultivated a passion for storytelling that drew heavily from his diverse cultural background. His artistic journey began in music, where he was part of the pioneering First Nation hip hop group, Reddnation. For over ten years, the ensemble toured across North America, during which Will's interest in acting began to flourish.
Will made his acting debut in 2015 as Crazyhorse in Robert Redford's documentary miniseries, *The American West*. This opportunity opened the door to a successful acting career, leading him to notable roles in acclaimed series such as *Jamestown*, *Frontiersmen*, and *The Alienist*. Additionally, he portrayed Virgil Kelly in the film *Indian Horse*, where his academic background in Ojibwe language proved advantageous; he contributed to the translation efforts for the film, enhancing its cultural authenticity.
Currently residing in New York, Will is dedicated to social causes through his work with the CANA Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on reviving horse populations and supporting ecological and cultural initiatives. He is also a proud enrolled member of the Keeseekoose First Nation in Saskatchewan, embodying the spirit of his heritage in both his artistic endeavors and philanthropic efforts.
