He hails from Reims, France, where he was raised by a French mother, a lawyer from Picardy, and an Iranian father, a former geologist who turned to the carpet trade after fleeing the Iranian Revolution. His brother, Keyvan Khojandi, shares his talent, portraying Kyan's sibling in the popular television series "Bref."

Khojandi's artistic journey began at the tender age of six when he enrolled in the Music Conservatory of Reims to study the viola. He later pursued acting at the prestigious Cours Simon in Paris in 2004, where he honed his skills to become a professional comedian. His writing career kicked off in 2006, leading to performances at open stages and supporting roles in various shows.
