He has been happily married to Shirley Lewis, a backing vocalist who has collaborated with notable artists such as Elton John, George Michael, and Luther Vandross, since 1994. Together, they share a stepdaughter named Carli. In January 2007, Luke and Shirley relocated to Los Angeles for a permanent residence, while still keeping a home in London.
