He is best known for his collaboration with Jean-Christian Fraiscinet in the comedic duo Les Bodin's. Although he was born in the Paris area, Dubois spent his formative years in the rural village of Abilly in Indre-et-Loire, growing up alongside his five siblings. Notably, one of his inspirations for the character came from a real-life elderly woman named Maria, whom he met during a call after she had a mishap with a Solex.
