Sacha Parkinson
Sacha Parkinson is the sole offspring of Cliff, a housing officer, and Leigh Parkinson, a former social worker. She attended Walkden High School located in Worsley, near Salford, Manchester, where she successfully completed her education. Her character departed from the television series on December 30, 2011, following a tumultuous wedding between her character and Sophie.
Sacha's journey into acting began in 2003 when she featured in the Channel 4 adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's novel, The Illustrated Mum. Following that, she made guest appearances in various shows including The Royal, The Street, and The Bill. In 2007, she joined the cast of CBBC's Grange Hill, portraying the role of Anna Duncan for six episodes. Between 2007 and 2008, Sacha took on minor guest roles in series such as Waterloo Road, Doctors, Survivors, and Shameless, in addition to appearing in the drama Clay, which starred Imelda Staunton.
In 2009, Sacha was cast as Natasha in the film Awaydays produced by Red Union Films. She also played Leanne in A Boy Called Dad, a production from Made Up North, which premiered in March 2010. Sacha has demonstrated her versatility and talent throughout her varied roles in television and film.
