Michaela Conlin
Michaela Conlin, born on June 9, 1978, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is a talented American actress celebrated for her notable performance as Angela Montenegro on the hit Fox series, Bones. Conlin, who stands at 5' 8" (1.73 m), comes from a diverse background, with a Chinese-American mother and an Irish-American father.
Her passion for acting ignited at a young age; she took the stage for the first time at just six years old and continued to participate in various community and regional theater productions across Pennsylvania. After completing her education at Parkland High School, she pursued her acting dreams in New York City, enrolling at New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. While earning her B.F.A. in Theater, she showcased her skills in several projects with the Atlantic Theater Company and the Playwrights Horizons Theater School, and even expanded her training in Amsterdam with the Experimental Theatre Wing's International Training Program.
Conlin's career took off after she was featured in the documentary series The It Factor, which chronicled the journeys of young actors in New York. Shortly thereafter, she made the move to Los Angeles, where she secured her first prominent role in the medical drama MDs, portraying an idealistic intern under the guidance of two unconventional doctors.
