Anna Sahlin
Anna Cecilia Sahlin, widely recognized as Sahlene, is a talented Swedish singer born on May 11, 1976, in the town of Söderhamn. Her artistic journey began at the tender age of eleven when she landed a role in the television series *The Children of Noisy Village*, inspired by the beloved stories of Astrid Lindgren. After seven years, she relocated to Stockholm to pursue her passion for music, initially joining a band named Rhythm Avenue.
In 1998, Anna transitioned from Rhythm Avenue to work as a backing vocalist for several prominent Swedish artists, including Eric Gadd, Carola, Robyn, and Charlotte Nilsson. Notably, she contributed to Nilsson's historic win at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 held in Jerusalem with the song "Take Me to Your Heaven."
