Sarita Khajuria
Sarita Khajuria was a talented British actress of Indian and Finnish heritage, known for her vibrant performances and promising career. She received her education at the prestigious North London Collegiate School, where she excelled academically, achieving five A grades at A-levels. This academic foundation led her to pursue a master's degree in International Journalism at university.
Sarita launched her acting career in 1987 with a role in the Channel 4 sitcom "Tandoori Nights." However, her most notable performance came in 1993 when she appeared in Gurinder Chadha's critically acclaimed film "Bhaji on the Beach," portraying Hashida, a strong and independent young woman. She also had a brief uncredited role in the popular 2002 film "Bend It Like Beckham," further showcasing her range as an actress.
Tragically, Sarita's life was cut short when she was discovered deceased in the River Thames near Albert Bridge in March 2003.
