Alex Karpovsky
Alex Karpovsky is a multifaceted American filmmaker, known for his work as a director, actor, screenwriter, producer, and editor. He made his mark in the film industry with his debut feature, *The Hole Story*, released in 2006, which received critical acclaim and won multiple awards during its festival run before being distributed by Indiepix. Following this success, Karpovsky showcased his talent in *Woodpecker*, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2008 and was later released by Carnivalesque Films in 2009. His documentary, *Trust Us, This Is All Made Up*, also premiered at SXSW in 2009 and was released by B-Side Entertainment in early 2010, later finding a home with New Video Group.
As an actor, Karpovsky has delivered notable performances in various acclaimed films. He starred in *Beeswax*, which debuted at the 2009 Berlin International Film Festival, and voiced characters in the popular video game *Grand Theft Auto IV*.
