Ronald Chin Han
Ronald Chin Han (秦漢), born Sun Siang-chong (孫祥鐘) on April 24, 1946, is a celebrated Taiwanese actor renowned for his contributions to the film and television industry. Initially adopting the stage name Kang Kai (康凱) under the guidance of director Li Han-Hsiang (李翰祥), he later transitioned to Sun Ge (孫戈) during the production of the film "Five Brothers from Tangshan" (唐山五兄弟) in 1972. It was director Yao Feng-Pan (姚鳳磐) who ultimately bestowed upon him the enduring name Chin Han, which he continues to be recognized by.
Chin Han's illustrious career spans several decades, primarily focusing on literary romantic films and television series that were adaptations of novels by iconic authors such as Qiong Yao (瓊瑤) during the 1970s and 1980s. His performances, characterized by emotional depth and charisma, have solidified his status as a leading figure in the genre.
