She gained significant recognition as a member of the iconic girl group Fifth Harmony, known for being one of the highest-selling girl groups in music history. Following her success with the group, Jauregui began to explore her artistic individuality, delving into solo projects and collaborating with prominent artists such as Marian Hill, Steve Aoki, and Halsey.
In October 2018, she unveiled her solo career with the release of her debut single "Expectations" under Columbia Records.
