Osman Sonant

Osman Sonant, born on March 1, 1979, in Turkey, is a distinguished actor whose career spans over two decades. He embarked on his journey in the performing arts in 1997 at the Bahçelievler Municipal Theatre, where he honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed actor Yılmaz Gruda. In 1998, he joined the Ortaoyuncular Nöbetçi Theatre, led by the renowned Ferhan Şensoy. A year later, he took a significant step in his education by enrolling in the Istanbul University State Conservatory, ultimately earning a degree in stage arts.

Throughout his career, Sonant has showcased his talent in a variety of plays, films, and television series. His performance in the 2009 film *Pandora'nın Kutusu* earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 16th Golden Boll Film Festival, marking a pivotal moment in his career. Since 2011, he has been widely recognized for his role as Yavuz in the acclaimed surreal comedy series *Leyla ile Mecnun*.

In 2015, he took on a leading role in the series *Beş Kardeş*, where he portrayed Orhan under the direction of Onur Ünlü.
