Jennifer Cooke
Jennifer Cooke, born on September 19, 1964, is a notable American actress recognized for her contributions to television during the 1980s. She gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Elizabeth, known as the "Star Child," in the iconic sci-fi miniseries V, which premiered in 1984. Prior to this, Cooke showcased her talent on the long-running soap opera Guiding Light, where she played the character Morgan Richards Nelson from 1981 to 1983.
In addition to her television roles, she appeared in the critically praised NBC drama A Year in The Life as Debbie. One of her most memorable film performances was in the 1986 horror classic Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, where she took on the role of Megan. Cooke’s only guest appearance outside of her main roles was in the HBO anthology series The Hitchhiker.
Although she has since retired from the acting scene, Cooke remains active in the Urantia Brotherhood/Fellowship. She has been married to Mo Siegel, co-founder of Celestial Seasonings, since 1989. Interestingly, Cooke is said to have inspired the character "Alexandra Bass" in the 2010 novel Delusions of Grandeur by Buck Winthrop, further solidifying her legacy in the arts.
