Perdita Weeks
Perdita Weeks, born on December 25, 1985, is a talented Welsh actress known for her diverse roles in film and television. Hailing from South Glamorgan, she received her education at Roedean School before pursuing art history at the prestigious Courtauld Institute. Perdita comes from a family of actors, with her siblings being Honeysuckle Weeks and Rollo Weeks.
Her career took off with a notable portrayal of Mary Boleyn in the critically acclaimed Showtime series The Tudors in 2007. The following year, she played Lydia Bennet in the ITV adaptation Lost in Austen, showcasing her ability to inhabit complex characters. Early in her career, she appeared in the Midsomer Murders episode "Death and Dreams" in 2003, where she played a teenage murderer.
Weeks has also participated in various productions, including Stig of the Dump (2002) and Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking (2004), although her role in Miss Potter (2006) was ultimately cut. In 2009, she featured in the episode "Counter Culture Blues" of the series Lewis, portraying Kitten, the daughter of a rock star. Additionally, she showcased her talent in the 2011 miniseries The Promise and starred in the horror film Prowl (2010).
