Pia Tjelta

Pia Merete Tjelta, born on September 12, 1977, in Stavanger, Norway, is a distinguished actress recognized for her contributions to both film and theater. Tjelta began her acting journey early, making her film debut in 2001 with the movie "Mongoland." Although she enrolled at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 2000, she took a two-year maternity leave, ultimately graduating in 2006.

Her stage career took off in the same year, debuting with the production "Fyrverkerimakarens dotter" at Det Norske Teatret. Tjelta showcased her talent further in 2007, when she starred as Maria in the acclaimed play "Få meg på, for faen," also at Det Norske Teatret. That same year, she garnered significant media attention for her leading role in the romantic comedy "Mars og Venus," which solidified her status in the Norwegian entertainment industry.
