Rachel Elise Blanchard, born on March 19, 1976, is a talented Canadian actress known for her diverse roles across television. She first captured audiences’ attention at a young age, starring as Melanie Schlegel in the Canadian children's series The Kids of Degrassi Street. Blanchard's career kickstarted with a memorable McDonald's commercial, paving the way for her future successes.

Over the years, she has appeared in numerous notable productions, including playing Debi, Suzanne McCullough's daughter, in the series War of the Worlds, and Kristen in the spooky anthology series Are You Afraid of the Dark? She is perhaps best recognized for her portrayal of Cher Horowitz in the TV adaptation of Clueless, a character originally brought to life by Alicia Silverstone in the iconic 1995 film. From 2002 to 2004, she took on the role of Roxanne in the popular family drama 7th Heaven.
