Yolanda Charles

Yolande Christina Charles MBE is an accomplished British musician and educator known for her exceptional skills on the bass guitar. Over the years, she has collaborated with a diverse array of prominent artists, including the likes of Paul Weller, David A. Stewart, Robbie Williams, Mick Jagger, and Hans Zimmer. Her versatility and talent also led her to perform with The Waterboys, showcasing her ability to adapt to various musical styles.

From July 2017 until early 2020, Yolande was an integral part of the iconic British band Squeeze, contributing her unique sound to their music and performances. In addition to her collaborations with renowned musicians, she leads her own ensemble, The Deep Mo, where she explores her artistic vision and creativity as a bandleader.
