Zack Norman, originally named Howard Jerrold Zuker, was born on May 27, 1940, in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in the nearby city of Revere and demonstrated early academic prowess by attending The Governor's Academy, the oldest independent boarding school in the United States, at just 13 years old. By the age of 25, he had already made a name for himself in the financial sector as a member of the board of directors for a Massachusetts bank.
However, Zack is primarily recognized for his contributions to the entertainment industry. He gained significant acclaim for his portrayal of Ira in the iconic 1984 film "Romancing the Stone," produced by 20th Century Fox. His talent further shone through in his role as Kaz Naiman in the 2001 film "Festival in Cannes," released by Paramount Classics.
