Suzanne Neve, born in 1939, is a renowned English actress celebrated for her significant contributions to British television during the 1960s. She gained prominence with her role as Ethel Brown in the 1962 adaptation of Richmal Crompton's William series, which captured the hearts of audiences. Neve's career flourished with leading performances in productions such as Smuggler's Bay (1964) and as Fleur de Lys in the 1966 adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. However, it was her portrayal of Isabel Osmond in the BBC's acclaimed 1968 adaptation of Henry James's The Portrait of a Lady that solidified her status as a prominent actress.

Her breakthrough role came in 1967 with the BBC's prestigious miniseries The Forsyte Saga, where she portrayed Holly, further establishing her talent in period dramas. Following The Portrait of a Lady, Neve continued to make her mark on television, appearing in classic adaptations like Bel-Ami (1971) and taking on the recurring role of Mary, Commander Straker's wife, in the science fiction series UFO (1970–71).
