Kotono Mitsuishi is a renowned Japanese voice actress and narrator, hailing from Toda in Saitama Prefecture. Growing up in Nagareyama, Chiba, she completed her high school education in 1986 before pursuing her passion for voice acting at the Katsuta Voice Actor's Academy.

Mitsuishi began her professional journey in 1988 with her debut role as Tomoyo in the OVA "Ace wo Nerae! 2." However, it was her iconic portrayal of Usagi Tsukino in the beloved series "Sailor Moon," which premiered in 1992, that catapulted her to fame and established her as a household name.
