Robert Viharo, born on August 14, 1942, is a notable American actor whose career spans several decades. He first gained attention in 1966 with his portrayal of Harry in the iconic series Dark Shadows. His film credits from the late 1960s include a memorable role as a Broadway director in Valley of the Dolls (1967), and he showcased his talent in Villa Rides (1968) and Stuntman (1968). Viharo's career continued to flourish in the 1970s, where he starred as Zachary Kane in the action thriller Bare Knuckles (1977) and played Col. Ernesto Dorio in the film Romero (1989).

Throughout his career, Viharo appeared in a variety of television series from 1966 to 1991, including The Fugitive, Gunsmoke, and The High Chaparral. The 1980s saw him feature in episodes of Hardcastle and McCormick, TJ Hooker, Hill Street Blues, and The New Mike Hammer, among others. He continued to take on roles, including Caesar in Palace Guard in the early 1990s.

In addition to his acting career, Viharo is also a father to four children, including author Will Viharo. He was married to actress Jennifer West in the late 1960s, and later to actress Anne Helm, with whom he had a daughter, Serena. He briefly married singer Jeane Manson in 1981. One of his last appearances was in the film Presque Isle (2007).
