Mike Elliot

Michael Elliott, popularly known as Mike the Mouth, was born on July 17, 1946, in Sunderland, England, and passed away on December 23, 2014. Renowned for his vibrant personality, he made his mark as a stand-up comedian, actor, television host, and radio figure.

Elliott's educational journey began at St. Cuthbert's RC Primary School in Grindon, followed by St. Aiden's RC Grammar School in Ashbrook, Sunderland. Before embarking on his entertainment career, he dedicated some time to academia, serving as an English teacher at Dyke House School in Hartlepool.

His breakthrough came in 1983 with the Channel 4 show "At Last, It's Mike Elliott," which catapulted him to national prominence. Elliott became a familiar face in the comedy scene, known for his engaging performances and sharp wit.
