Evan Williams, a talented actor and musician, was born in Alberta, Canada, and raised primarily in Calgary. He attributes his creative journey to the unwavering support of his father, an engineer, and his mother, an accomplished artist. His artistic inclinations emerged early, as he participated in choir and local theater productions, even taking part in a street performance troupe that traveled to Moscow. A pivotal moment in his career came when he landed the lead role in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' during high school, solidifying his passion for acting.

Williams further honed his craft at the Summerstock Conservatory, where he showcased his talents in various musicals, earning the prestigious Phyllis Pope Award for Best Performance in 2004 for his portrayal of the quirky Rabbi in 'Fiddler On the Roof.' He graduated from Ryerson Theatre School and gained international fame for his role as Kelly Ashoona on 'Degrassi: The Next Generation.' His television credits also include notable appearances in 'The Border,' 'Instant Star,' and 'Being Erica,' as well as film roles in "A Flesh Offering" and HBO's "Grey Gardens," where he starred alongside Drew Barrymore.

Williams played Baxter McNab in the series 'Baxter,' which showcased his musical talents, and starred in Hallmark Channel's "The National Tree" opposite Andrew McCarthy. Recently, he took on the role of Chet in Sam Shepard's "Cowboys #2" with the Candles Are For Burning Co-op. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles, continuing to pursue his artistic passions.
