Kenny Yates
Kenny Yates is a talented actor, voice actor, producer, and director with a diverse heritage, being half-Italian and half-Filipino. Based in Los Angeles, Kenny has been an influential figure in the entertainment sector since he began his journey in 2004. He first gained recognition as a child actor on the acclaimed PBS kids' program Zoom, where he captivated audiences through 80 episodes across two seasons, earning the show a Daytime Emmy.
Transitioning behind the camera, Kenny made his debut as an assistant on the 20th Century Fox/Regency film Date Movie. He continued to work with directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, assisting on projects such as Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Vampires Suck. His dedication led to a promotion to Associate Producer on Disaster Movie and later to Co-Producer/VFX Supervisor for The Starving Games and Superfast!
In addition to his production work, Kenny has maintained his acting career, appearing in films by Seltzer and Friedberg. Recently, he showcased his comedic talent as Floyd in 'Reboot Camp', featuring stars like Eric Roberts and David Koechner. He is set to co-star with Danny Trejo in the upcoming film 'Wolf Mountain'.
Kenny is committed to honing his craft, currently studying the Meisner Technique at Playhouse West in North Hollywood. He also founded KAYJ Entertainment, where he serves as President, and was part of the sketch comedy troupe 'The Neighbors', led by director Sean Whalen.
