Kim Yong-sun, widely recognized by her stage name Solar, is a prominent South Korean singer and songwriter celebrated for her role as the leader and main vocalist of the acclaimed girl group MAMAMOO. Born on February 21, 1991, Solar has captivated audiences with her powerful vocals and charismatic performances since the group’s debut in 2014.

In her pursuit of a solo career, Solar launched her first single, "Spit It Out," on April 23, 2020, showcasing her versatility as an artist. Following this, she released her debut mini-album, 容: Face, on March 16, 2022, which further solidified her status as a talented solo performer.

Beyond her musical achievements, Solar has also ventured into acting, making a memorable cameo in the 2015 romantic web drama "Imaginary Cat," where she played the character Jung Soo-in.
