Dave Lamb
David Alexander Lamb, born on January 17, 1969, is a versatile English actor, comedian, narrator, and television presenter. He is particularly renowned for his voice work on the popular reality show *Come Dine with Me*, where his witty and satirical commentary has garnered a loyal fanbase since its inception in 2005. Lamb's comedic talents were also showcased in the British sketch show *Goodness Gracious Me*, where he was notably the sole recurring white cast member, and in various other comedy series throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including *People Like Us*, *Hippies*, and *EastEnders*.
His educational background includes studying philosophy and literature at the University of Warwick after attending Broxbourne School in Hertfordshire. Lamb’s career took off with his role as Buster, a homophobic tramp, in the 1998 sitcom *How Do You Want Me?*. In addition to his television roles, he lent his voice to video games such as *Fable II* and *Fable III*.
Lamb has narrated several adaptations of *Come Dine with Me*, including international versions in Ireland and South Africa, and contributed to children’s programming like *Big Barn Farm* and *Waybuloo*.
