Jane Randolph, originally named Jane Roemer, was an American actress born on October 30, 1915, in Youngstown, Ohio. She passed away on May 4, 2009, in Gstaad, Switzerland. After her upbringing in Kokomo, Indiana, Randolph ventured to Hollywood in 1939, determined to launch her film career. She caught the attention of Warner Bros., which led to her securing minor roles in films by 1941.

In 1942, she signed with RKO Pictures, marking a significant shift in her career when she landed a leading role in "Highways by Night." Randolph became particularly notable for her performances in film noir, featuring in titles such as "Jealousy" (1945) and "Railroaded!" (1947). She also appeared in well-known horror films, including the classic "Cat People" (1942) and its sequel, "The Curse of the Cat People" (1944).

Her film career culminated with a role in the comedic thriller "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" in 1948. Shortly after, she married Jaime del Amo, a member of the prominent Dominguez family, and chose to retire from acting to embrace a socialite lifestyle in Spain. Although she returned to Los Angeles later in life, she also maintained a residence in Switzerland, reflecting her diverse experiences and lasting legacy in the film industry.
