Miyu Takagi, a talented Japanese voice actress and entertainer, has made a significant mark in the anime and multimedia landscape. Born on September 8, 1996, in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, she grew up in Chiba Prefecture, which she proudly calls her hometown. Standing at 164 cm, Takagi is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce. Her journey in the entertainment industry began in 2012 when she participated in the "Wake Up, Girls! AUDITION," where her performance of "Lost my music" caught the attention of the judges.

In 2014, Takagi achieved her breakthrough by voicing Miyu Okamoto in both the theatrical film and the television series of Wake Up, Girls!. This role also led her to become a member of the associated voice actress and idol group, contributing her talents until the group disbanded in 2019.

She further solidified her career with her role as Hacka Doll No. 1 in the 2015 anime adaptation of the Hacka Doll project, where she performed alongside fellow voice actresses Kaya Okuno and Nanami Yamashita. That same year, her work with Wake Up, Girls! earned her a Special Award at the 9th Seiyuu Awards, honoring her contributions to the voice acting industry.

Beyond her anime roles, Takagi has also served as a local ambassador, voicing Namiki-chan, the mascot for the Iida Okanomachi Festival in Nagano Prefecture. With her infectious energy and commitment, Miyu Takagi remains a cherished figure in Japan’s voice acting community.
