Kristjan Lüüs
Kristjan Lüüs, born on March 17, 1991, in Tartu, Estonia, is a versatile actor known for his contributions to stage, film, and television since the early 2010s. He completed his secondary education at Tartu Art Gymnasium in 2010 and pursued acting at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy, graduating in 2015. His academic performances included notable roles in productions like Jaanika Tammaru's *Pööriöö* and William Shakespeare's *Romeo and Juliet*.
Lüüs made his mark on Estonian television starting in 2013, with appearances across various series. His breakout came in 2014 with roles in the sketch-comedy series *Tujurikkuja* and the comedy *Takso*. He showcased his range in dramas, notably as Mauno Mesine in the military series *Vabad mehed* from 2014 to 2017, and as Arno Sark in the crime series *Siberi võmm*, which he joined in 2016. His comedic talents were further displayed in *Padjaklubi* from 2018 to 2019.
In film, Lüüs first gained attention as Andres in the romantic musical *Tudengimuusikal* (2009). He later appeared in films such as *Klassikokkutulek* (2016), *Päevad, mis ajasid segadusse* (2016), and the Estonian submission for the 91st Academy Awards, *Võta või jäta* (2018). In 2021, he took on the role of Robert in *Öölapsed*.
Lüüs was married to actress Maris Nõlvak from July 2016 until their divorce in 2020, and he continues to reside in Tartu.
