Gianfranco Parolini

Gianfranco Parolini, born on February 20, 1925, in Rome, Italy, was a prominent Italian film director whose work spanned multiple genres, including Spaghetti Westerns and adventure films. He is also known by the alias Frank Kramer. Throughout his career, Parolini directed notable works such as The Sabata Trilogy, as well as a series of Kommissar X films and various sword and sandal productions.

Before making his mark in film, Parolini claimed to have authored over 100 thriller novels, showcasing his talent for storytelling. His journey into cinema began when he took on the role of assistant to renowned director Giuseppe D'Amato, which helped him hone his craft in the film industry.
