Tamara Jolaine is a talented actress whose career began in her native Canada. After completing a degree in Political Science at the University of Toronto, she made a pivotal decision at the age of 18 to forgo law school and pursue her passion for the arts, particularly acting and music. Tamara initially made her mark in Toronto, engaging in various film and commercial projects. Her breakthrough came with a leading role in the independent film *Tough Love*, directed by Frank Caruso, which ultimately inspired her to further her education in acting in New York City.

Enrolling at the prestigious Circle in the Square Theater School in Times Square, Tamara sharpened her craft and soon transitioned to the vibrant off-Broadway scene. She starred in several notable productions, most prominently in *Line*, penned by Israel Horowitz. This mentorship proved invaluable, leading to her notable recurring role as Erin in NBC’s acclaimed series *Friday Night Lights*. In a dramatic twist, her character reveals a life-changing pregnancy to former star quarterback Jason Streets in the second season finale, further solidifying Tamara's place in the acting world.
