Siobhan Margaret Finneran is a notable English actress recognized for her extensive work in both television and film. She began her career with a memorable performance in the 1987 independent film, *Rita, Sue and Bob Too*. Finneran quickly established herself in the television landscape with significant roles in popular series such as *Coronation Street* (1989–1990), *Clocking Off* (2000–2002), and *The Amazing Mrs Pritchard* (2006).

In 2005, she took on a leading role in the acclaimed stage play *On the Shore of the Wide World*, earning the Manchester Evening News Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Finneran is also well-known for her comedic talent, particularly as Janice Garvey in the ITV sitcom *Benidorm* (2007–2015).
