David Siu Chung-Hang
David Siu Chung-Hang made his entrance into the Hong Kong entertainment scene in the late 1980s. He joined the 17th TVB acting class in 1987, alongside the renowned "Heavenly King," Aaron Kwok. His ascent to fame was relatively rapid, sparked by his participation in a TVB talent contest that same year. With encouragement from friends, David entered and secured the championship title, which led to an immediate offer from TVB to sign him.
In his first year, David's striking looks and impressive height caught the attention of producers, resulting in an active promotion from TVB. Over the next five years, he appeared in around 20 television series, including notable titles such as *Behind Silk Curtains*, *The Greed of Man*, and *The Link*. His portrayal of Ting How-hai in the 1992 classic *The Greed of Man* remains one of his most recognized roles. In 1993, he further solidified his fame with the character Sung Man Jeun in *The Link*, where his on-screen chemistry with co-star Amy Kwok captivated audiences.
In 1995, David departed from TVB due to contractual disagreements and briefly joined Asia Television (ATV), featuring in series such as *Justice Bao*. After stepping back from the industry in 1997 to run a 4x4 conversion shop, he made his comeback in 2012 with the short film *A Wall-Less World III*. His resurgence continued with the 2014 film *Dot to Dot* and a reunion with Loletta Lee in *The Anniversary* (2015). The re-airing of *The Greed of Man* in April 2015 reignited interest in his career, marking a triumphant return to the limelight.
