Nikita Kukushkin
Nikita Andreevich Kukushkin, born on November 14, 1990, in Moscow, is a prominent Russian actor recognized for his contributions to both theater and film. He has emerged as one of the standout performers at the Gogol-Center, a prestigious theatrical venue.
Kukushkin began his artistic journey at a specialized theatrical school, "Class-center," where he honed his skills as a teenager at the Children's Musical Theater of a young actor. Although he briefly attended the College of Culture, he ultimately transferred to the Moscow Art Theater Studio School, studying under the acclaimed director Kirill Serebrennikov. Following his graduation, Kukushkin continued to collaborate with Serebrennikov at the Seventh Studio and the Gogol Center, participating in numerous productions.
In 2019, he showcased his directorial talents with his debut play "Bozhenka," adapted from Valery Pecheykin's work. Kukushkin received accolades for his role in the film "Correction Class," earning a Special Jury Prize at the Amur Autumn Festival. His filmography includes notable projects such as "Okolofootball," "Harms," "Captain Volkonogov Ran," and the dystopian web series "amroN," directed by Maxim Didenko.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Kukushkin is also dedicated to philanthropy. He has initiated various charitable projects, including "Good Box" and "#yavpomosh," aimed at supporting the underprivileged, especially during the pandemic. In December 2020, he launched the "Help" initiative, which features a mobile app connecting users with individuals in need, allowing them to donate directly to support their essential needs.
