Judy Trammell
Judy Trammell is a prominent figure in the world of cheerleading, particularly known for her extensive career with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. From 1980 to 1984, she showcased her talent as a cheerleader, serving not only as a member of the squad but also stepping into leadership roles, including group leader and show group member. With a strong background in various dance styles such as jazz, pom, drill team, and tap, Trammell's skills were evident early on.
In 1984, she advanced to the position of assistant choreographer for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, where she began to shape the team’s dynamic performances. Her dedication and expertise culminated in her promotion to head choreographer in 1991, a role she has continued to excel in for over three decades. Under her guidance, the cheerleading squad has become renowned for its innovative routines and high-energy performances.
Trammell is notable for being only the second former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader to transition into an administrative position within the organization, following Director Kelli Finglass. Her contributions have not only enhanced the legacy of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders but have also set a standard for cheerleading choreography at the professional level.
