Bobby Darling is a pioneering transgender actress from India, known for her significant contributions to Bollywood and regional cinema, as well as her appearances on reality television and modeling. Before her transition, she made a mark by securing a spot in the Limca Book of Records for portraying 18 different roles as a gay man by the age of 23. Her career took a notable turn when she was cast by Rishi Vohra in the film *Maine Dil Tujhko Diya*, where she played the leader of a college group called The Sisters. Although originally a minor role, her talent was recognized by producer-director Sohail Khan, leading to a more substantial character in the film.
In 2006, Darling rose to national fame as a contestant on the inaugural season of *Bigg Boss*, a reality show modeled after the Big Brother format.
