Chantavit Dhanasevi is a prominent Thai actor, director, and screenwriter, recognized for his significant contributions to the film industry. He completed his education at Chulalongkorn University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a focus on Film and Photography. Throughout his university years from 2001 to 2006, he actively participated in various faculty stage productions.

Following his graduation, Chantavit embarked on a freelance career, taking on diverse roles including screenwriter, assistant director, cinematographer, and acting coach at GTH. He initially appeared in minor roles across numerous GTH films until he secured a leading part in the influential series "Hormones" in 2008. That same year, he showcased his talent in the horror film "Coming Soon" and contributed to the screenplays for "4Bia" and "Phobia 2."

His breakthrough came in 2010 with the romantic comedy "Hello Stranger," alongside Neungthida Sopon, for which he also co-wrote the screenplay. This role propelled him to stardom, earning him the Star Hunter award at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2011, recognizing him as one of Asia's most promising young actors.

In 2012, he starred in the blockbuster "ATM: Er Rak Error," which became GTH's highest-grossing film at the time. He further solidified his reputation by co-writing the record-breaking hit "Pee Mak" in 2013. Currently, Chantavit is in a relationship with actress Mai Davika Hoorne, with whom he has shared the screen in the lakorns "Chai Mai Jing Ying Tae" and "Nang Sao Mai Jam Kad Nam Sakul."
