**Gloria Lynne Henry: A Dynamic Performer**

Gloria Lynne Henry, born in Detroit, Michigan, began her artistic journey at a remarkably young age, taking the stage for the first time at just eight years old. After obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Wayne State University, she played a pivotal role in establishing a children's theater program at the Attic Theater in Detroit. Additionally, Gloria toured Europe with the international performance group 'Up With People,' showcasing her talents across various Equity theaters throughout the United States.

Henry's on-screen career commenced with a minor role in the television film *Bare Essence* (1982). However, it was her breakout performance in *Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead* (1994) that garnered her widespread acclaim, particularly among horror and sci-fi enthusiasts. Directed by Don Coscarelli, she was cast as Rocky, a character that highlighted her martial arts skills and tough persona. This role remains a defining moment in her career, leading her to participate in numerous horror conventions and reunions that celebrate the *Phantasm* legacy.

Following her success in *Phantasm III*, Gloria appeared in notable films such as *The Devil's Advocate* (1997) and *The Horse Whisperer* (1998). In recent years, she has lent her talents to various national commercials. Beyond acting, Gloria is also a talented vocalist, having performed as the lead singer for the funk/rock band 'Chatter,' founded by her cousin Brian Hardgroove.

Currently, Gloria resides in Los Angeles with her husband and son, continuing to thrive in her multifaceted career.
