Born in Kansas and later raised in Texas, Joanna graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Communications. Her passion for design blossomed during her internship in New York City, where she discovered a love for unique boutiques that inspired her creative vision.
In 2003, Joanna returned to her Texas roots and opened her own shop, infusing her NYC-inspired aesthetic into the heart of Waco. This venture set the stage for her partnership with Chip, and together they embarked on a journey of remodeling and flipping homes, combining their complementary skills.
