Tyler Spindel
Tyler Spindel, a Harvard University alumnus, embarked on his journey in Los Angeles, fueled by his lifelong aspiration to become a stand-up comedian. His early experiences performing across the nation and hosting a weekly show at the iconic Laugh Factory in Hollywood deepened his appreciation for the nuances of comedy, ultimately steering him toward a career in directing.
Spindel's initial ventures into directing involved creating engaging branded content and commercials for prominent brands such as Gillette, Macy's, Samsung, Nickelodeon, Del Taco, and Nike. This success paved the way for his transition into television. He directed episodes of shows like The Jack and Triumph Show, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, Breaking In, and A Night of Too Many Stars. Notably, he produced and directed sketches for over 350 episodes of Chelsea Lately, showcasing his versatility in the industry.
In film, Tyler made his mark by directing second unit for seven Adam Sandler/Happy Madison productions. He also wrote, produced, and directed the widely acclaimed short film Love and Germaphobia, which garnered accolades from various prestigious film festivals, including Montreal Just for Laughs and Hollyshorts Film Festival.
