Tom McKitterick

Tom McKitterick, born on December 20, 1956, is an accomplished actor and photojournalist, best known for his role in the cult classic film *The Warriors* released in 1979. Following his performance in the film and some experience in theater, McKitterick decided to step away from the acting world in 1981.

He transitioned into photojournalism, joining Impact Visuals, a prominent agency based in New York. Throughout his two-decade career as a photojournalist, McKitterick made a name for himself by capturing compelling images in various arenas, particularly excelling in sports photography. He gained significant acclaim for his work in tennis, photographing prestigious events such as the Grand Slam tournaments, the Masters, and the Davis Cup.

After two successful decades behind the lens, McKitterick returned to his theatrical roots. He took on the role of producer for *Period of Adjustment*, a play written by the iconic Tennessee Williams. Collaborating with the Almeida Theatre in London, he expressed aspirations to bring the production to Broadway in the fall of 2006. McKitterick’s journey reflects a dynamic career marked by versatility and creativity, bridging the worlds of performance and visual storytelling.
