Bernardo García
Bernardo García, born on July 25, 1977, embarked on his journey in the performing arts in 1989 under the tutelage of Colombian actors Maguso and Fernando García. He pursued music and vocal training at Universidad Javeriana, complementing his education with workshops in film acrobatics and stage combat. In 2002, he expanded his craft by participating in the Mimodrama and Media Resources Workshop in Chile with the Velatropa Group, led by José Luis Vivallo.
García's film career took off in 1998 with Ana Dies' Spanish production "Todo está oscuro." He followed this with roles in "El regreso a la nada" (1999), "Amor atado" (2001) directed by Felipe Aljure, and "El carro" (2003), a project of Dago García. His other cinematic contributions include "Las cartas del Gordo" (2006) and "Dios los junta y ellos se separan" (2006).
On television, García has graced various series and telenovelas such as "Así es la vida," "Siguiendo el rastro," "La sombra del arco iris," "Francisco el matemático," "Prisioneros del amor," "Sabor a limón," "Amar y Vivir," and "De qué tamaño es tu amor." In theater, he has participated in productions like "Romeo y Julieta" and "Hienas, chacales y otros animales carnívoros."
In the film "El man," García portrays Felipe De Las Aguas, a cab driver who transforms into a superhero driven by faith, embodying the spirit of those fighting against social injustices in Colombia. He describes his character as one who believes in the power of perseverance and change, resonating deeply with the Colombian people.
