Daigorô Tachibana
Daigorô Tachibana (橘 大五郎 Tachibana Daigorō), originally named Daisuke Isayama (諌山 大輔 Isayama Daisuke), was born on January 27, 1987. He is a prominent figure in the world of taishū engeki and is renowned as one of the Heisei era's leading onnagata actors. Often referred to as the "Prince of Taishū Engeki" (大衆演劇界プリンス), Tachibana has also earned the title "Taishū Engeki's New Hero Genius Onnagata" (大衆演劇界のニューヒーロー 天才女形).
His remarkable talent is perhaps best showcased in his role as Osei in Takeshi Kitano’s acclaimed film, Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman, released in 2003. Beyond his theatrical accomplishments, Tachibana has successfully transitioned into music, establishing himself as a professional enka recording artist.
